REP. NOBLE VISITS THE SHOP, THE HOME OF TEAM 548 ROBOSTANGS
On Wednesday, May 30, representatives from Harman visited our shop here at Northville High School to learn about what we do and how we do it. LaNeisha Gunn, University Relations Program Manager, and Nicole Andrus, working in Talent Acquisition, based in Troy, Michigan met with our team’s steering committee and got a full tour of our shop including driving our omnidirectional robot, SideStep. We are super excited about this opportunity to create a partnership with Harman, opening opportunities for both us and them and fostering a partnership that we hope will grow in the coming years. Together we would like to create a program to benefit not only our team, but also our pipeline teams, as well as work towards our common goal of encouraging women in STEM. We plan on hosting soft skill workshops with our community and doing a STEM related activity at our annual RoboCamp. We are grateful for this opportunity and excited to!
